What happens if my parent doesn't tap?
If no check-in is received by a time you set, we send an alert directly to you and any other family members via LINE. You decide the window โ most families use a 2โ3 hour grace period.
Does my parent need to be tech-savvy?
Not at all. The app is a single large button designed for aging eyes and hands. If they can unlock a phone, they can use I'm OK.
How will I receive the alert?
Alerts are sent via LINE โ Japan's most used messaging app. No new app needed on your end. Email and WhatsApp are coming soon.
Can multiple family members be notified?
Yes. You can add as many family members as you like. Everyone gets the same alert at the same time โ no one is left out of the loop.
Is my parent's data private?
We collect only what's needed โ check-in status and alert delivery. No cameras, no location tracking, no health data. Your parent's privacy is fully protected.
Can I cancel anytime?
